PACRO RECEIVES EXCELLENCE AWARD

The Patents and Companies Registration Office on 23rd June 2008 received the inaugural All Africa Public Sector Innovation Award. The Award was given in recognition of PACRO's exceptional contribution towards improving the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of public service.

The award was presented during the commemoration of the Africa Civil Service day which fell on 23rd June with PACRO becoming the first recipient of such an award. Mr. Anthony Bwembya, Assistant Registrar of Companies, received the award on behalf of the institution.

In presenting the award to members of staff, Mr. Bwembya did not hide his joy as he lifted the trophy high and urged the members of staff to continue with their hard work as the fruits of the hard work were now showing.
