Laws of Team Work
The focus of this presentation is to point out the importance of team
work which is an important pre-requisite for the success of any
organization and PACRO is no exception. There are 17 laws of effective
team work (Maxwell) but due to the limited time available, I shall
endeavour to share with you the first five laws.
Law 1
Law of Significance
(a) One is too small a number to achieve greatness
(b) You may be good, but you are not that good!
(c) Is my dream bigger than myself?
Law 2
Law of the Big Picture
(a) The goal is more important than the role
(b) When you see the big picture correctly, you serve the
team quickly
(c) Do I place the team above myself?
Law 3
Law the Niche
(a) All players have a place where they add the most value
(b) You are most valuable where you add the most value
(c) Do I do what I do best?
Law 4
Law of Mount Everest
(a) As the challenge escalates, the need for teamwork
elevates
(b) The size of your dream should determine the size of
your team
(c) Is my team ready for a Mt. Everest challenge?
Law 5
Law of the Chain
(a) The strength of the team is impacted by its weakest
link
(b) The team cannot continually cover up its weakness
(c) Am I helping, or hurting my team? |
