SELF CONFIDENCE , TEAM WORK AND UNDERSTANDING
Self Confidence
How you feel about
yourself plays an important role in your ability to live your best life.
With a healthy self-confidence (self-image, self-esteem, self-respect)
you’ll take more chances and overcome obstacles -- faster. You’ll set
your SELF in motion which will set the world around you in motion.
You’ll get what you want and each time you do your confidence will soar
and the belief you have in yourself will grow stronger. You’ll see life
through the eyes of a person who not only BELIEVES they can do it – you
WILL do it!
Speak well of yourself
and you’ll begin believing you do have what it takes to create and live
the life you most want.
Take time out to focus
on all that you have done well. Once a month, take a few moments to
write down all that you have done well – it’s probably more than you
think. Acknowledge the work you do, your strengths and accomplishments
on a regular basis. In doing so, you’ll begin seeing yourself as a
person who does things right and gets things done. You’ll begin seeing
and appreciating all the good you do.
Let’s dedicate time to
think as this the fountain of power.
Team Work
Success of a team is about the achievement of the whole
team, not one, or two, or three individuals. In this regard, there is
need for team members to respect each other’s work and point of view,
therefore gaining mutual trust and respect for each other.
For this to be achieved, one way is to discourage
“backdoor” reports. Inevitably, you would find that one or two
employee(s) have the tendency of reporting others after every meeting -
giving a play- by-play slanted in their favour. It is important that
this behavior is discouraged and resist the temptation to use such
employees as a fly on the wall. Backdoor tactics can severely undermine
an otherwise positive office environment.
Let’s dedicate our time to work for this is the price of
success.
Understanding
Finally, it is very important for leaders to take time and
show sincere interest in the support staff as people. Understand what
your employees are passionate about in their lives. What are their
passions? What are their personal needs? What brings them joy or pain?
What are their short-range and long-range goals? Once you understand the
answers to these questions, you can move them to a level of a mountain,
even higher, because you cared enough to ask the questions and shown
interest in their success. Ultimately, once you understand your
employee’s needs and goals, they will definitely take a lot more
interest in understanding and achieving the need goals of the
organization.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Let’s LOVE one another as we love
ourselves then we will be able to serve our customers and regard them as
our neighbours. |
