Life is not a dress
rehearsal.
Shall we pray.
Father, Lord God Almighty. We stand in your presence, confident that our Saviour Jesus
Christ, died for the remission of our sins and that we are redeemed and
reconciled to You and Your will through grace. Christ has given us power to enter your Holy presence and
seek your face and favour. We pray for your mercy and grace, sanctify this blessed new
day, our families and the works of our hands. In honour and truth, through our Lord and Saviour, the
living Christ, Amen.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I want to speak to you from the
heart.
Life is not a dress
rehearsal.
You get one shot at it. Period.
There is no take two.
Just once and once only.
William Shakespeare, said, ‘to thine own self, be true.’
Don’t live you life on somebody else’s time. You only have
so much time to live your own life.
Don’t live your life according to someone else’s values.
Have and live by your own values.
Don’t live your life according to someone else’s dreams.
Dream your own dreams.
Colleagues, you, not one of us, is a copy. We are all
original.
God, after creating you, broke the mould you came from.
There is only one you. So, dare be yourself.
It has been said, ‘failure is not falling down. It is
staying down.’
Don’t be afraid to be who you really are. Fear is a state
of mind.
To spend your life in fear, locks up your potential, to be
the person He created you to be.
Failure like fear paralyses. Defeat them by reacting
positively.
Attitude, as it has been said, is everything. Believe it.
It’s everything.
Live up to your potential.
Speak up when you have to.
Be a defender of your values and principles.
Don’t be a spectator in the theatre of your life.
You are the main star. Excel.
When you were born, it was an occasion.
When you die it will be an occasion.
But you live your life like a whisper. Why.
Stand up and be counted.
Stand out from the crowd.
Be and live your potential. You owe it to yourself to be
the best you can be.
Enjoy and celebrate your love, and your life, daily.
Someone has said, ‘enjoy your life, for you are a long
time dead.’
My personal advice to you.
Regret Nothing!
