THREE POWER POINTS OF SUCCESS. There is a saying that it takes Perspiration and Inspiration to achieve your Aspirations.
We work in order to attain something (Labour).
We work in order to earn something (Toil).
We work in order to acquire something (Sweat).

9 July 2007 ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING: love to work for PACRO All of us gathered in this room work for PACRO. For us to work for PACRO, it means we like to be PACRO employees. If we like to work for PACRO, then how is it that sometimes We come late for work? We put our assignments in a drawer and forget about it?
10 July 2007 MY CONCERN AT PACRO: As an institution that provides a service to external customers, we should not forget our service to ourselves as internal customers. We should aim to give the same best service to internal customers as we do to our external customers. This is an area where I have been disappointed in the past.

THE POWER OF PERSONAL ATTITUDES Each of us is made of three
parts. These are the physical, the vital, and the mental. The physical consists of our body organs, the vital of sensations, emotions and feelings and the mental of thoughts, memories reasoning power beliefs etc.

THE GOLDEN RULE" DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WISH THEM DO UNTO YOU" A very good principle indeed if we are to create a very peaceful environment. Principle can be applied to fellow workmates, external customers, and finally to PACRO.
FELLOW WORKERS
Treat them with love and courtesy and deliver to one another as is required of us as colleagues.

Laws of Team Work
The focus of this presentation is to point out the importance of team work which is an important pre-requisite for the success of any organization and PACRO is no exception. There are 17 laws of effective team work (Maxwell) but due to the limited time available, I shall endeavour to share with you the first five laws.

17 July 2007 A team player
A team player is a person who works well with his or her colleagues to achieve a common goal. At PACRO, we all share a common goal which is our mission statement. You may relate this reasoning to that of a football team, where there a different players who have different roles but share the same aim which is to score.
19 July 2007 PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON
People come  into your for a reason, a season or lifetime. When you know which one it is you know what to do for that person, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient  time. This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they walk away, sometimes they die.

A SMILE COSTS NOTHING BUT GIVES YOU MUCH
A sdevotional11.htmlmile costs nothing but gives you much. It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it lasts forever.
If you wish to be successful in any business, then you have to learn how to handle angry and disgruntled customers who may not have received the level of service that they expected from the company that you are representing.

ESPIRIT DE CORPSE (TEAM WORK)
A team may be defined, according to the Oxford Dictionary, as “a set of people working together.” For our purposes it may be defined as a group of people working together to achieve one defined organizational goal.

Philosophy of Life.
Each individual believes in something and that something is what I am calling
“ Philosophy Of Life”. It follows therefore that what you believe in shapes your life, how you live. How you prioritise issues of life too emanate from your philosophy of life. What is a Philosophy of life? Philosophy is a particular system of thought or doctrine or simply put its your inward beliefs and convictions expressed outwardly.

26 July 2007 DEVELOPING AN ALL ROUND SUCCESS CENTERED ON DISCIPLINE
Success is a product of discipline that is more concerned with incentives at your disposal than imperatives. There is a general rule that says “the most important ingredient in one’s lifetime is discipline, with it you can achieve everything without it you struggle to exist”.

Life is not a dress rehearsal.
Shall we pray. Father, Lord God Almighty. We stand in your presence, confident that our Saviour Jesus Christ, died for the remission of our sins and that we are redeemed and reconciled to You and Your will through grace. Christ has given us power to enter your Holy presence and seek your face and favour.

GRZ-HOSPITAL OR CLINIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITAL
Every now and then, we have patient in hospitals or clinics. They can also be called clients or customers. Is It Us or Is It Them?
"I'm dissatisfied with my employees."
“Why?”
“They just don’t seem to be motivated. I guess they don’t care how we do.”
“Why don’t you try some new incentives? I’ve got a new catalog of employee rewards.”
Stop!
The problem is that people usually answer that “why?” question without giving if sufficient careful thought. Which leads to programs designed to change your people’s attitudes, motivation, and values.

3 August 2007 THE STORY OF THE BIBLE AND THE COAL BASKET
There was a young grandson who admired his grandfather. Each morning, grandpa was up early, sitting at the kitchen table reading from his old worn out bible. His grandson, who wanted to be just like him tried to imitate him in every way he could. One day the grandson asked, “Grandpa, I try to read the bible just like you but I don’t understand; I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the bible do?”

HANDLING FAILURE

WHAT DOES YOUR HANDSHAKE SAY ABOUT YOU?
Have you ever shaken someone’s hand and in the same instant felt every bone in your fingers and palm shatter? Or even worse you felt like you were shaking the fin of a dead fish?Handshakes have been around since the birth of civilization. In fact they were originally a way to prove you had no weapons in your hand when meeting someone new. Given today’s bad state of affairs, that might not be a bad idea.

A HARD WORKER
A hard worker is passionate about his or her job. He does not need to be told what to do. He is enthusiastic about his work and is confident in what he does
.The hard worker does not wait to get praised for his achievement, or wait to receive rewards. He pleases himself by achieving his goals.

12 September 2007

TOTAL SATISFACTION THROUGH TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
Today I want to discuss the concept of change that involves the entire person. A human being is composed of many parts that constitute a body. It is this body which most of us recognize as a person. However, it is important to recognize that this body has many parts that play different roles in order for a single task to be accomplished.

Self Confidence
How you feel about yourself plays an important role in your ability to live your best life. With a healthy self-confidence (self-image, self-esteem, self-respect) you’ll take more chances and overcome obstacles -- faster. You’ll set your SELF in motion which will set the world around you in motion. You’ll get what you want and each time you do your confidence will soar and the belief you have in yourself will grow stronger.

GOING AN EXTRA MILE There are many times that we have heard the phrase ‘Going an extra mile’ or in simple terms in which we will understand better, ‘Let’s Die a Little for Mother Zambia’. In sport, we have heard it more frequently. But I would us to focus on going an extra mile for PACRO or as PACRO. The assumption here is that we  have all put in the best in as far as work is concerned. The going an extra mile comes in where you as an individual or as PACRO you do an extraordinary thing meant to improve work performance.
